Take Back The Night seizes evening; kills four, injures six

Take Back the Night, a group that protests sexual assault, achieved a victory at Washington University on April 1st when its troops took control of the night amidst sporadic machinegun fire and slogan chanting. It defeated the previous holders of the night, rapists. Four defenders of the night were killed and six others were injured, including one bystander who was hit with a poster carried by one of the protesters. “This is a hard fought victory, but we will not stop here,” said Debra Silberschat, a committee chair for TBTN as she hoisted aloft the severed head of a rapist. “We plan to overwhelm dusk, and from there stage an attack on what is left. The day will be ours!”

Take Back the Night’s efforts began with a march around campus, from Brookings Quad to the South 40. After breaking through three rapist-made barricades in the Quad with a hail of machinegun fire, Take Back the Night planted its flag on top of Brookings and proceeded towards the South 40, leaving a small contingent of troops to guard the main campus.

Resistance was heavier near the underpass, where defenders lobbed Molotov cocktails at the advancing marchers. The protesters split into two groups and overwhelmed the defenders, killing three and injuring five more, which including those killed in the attack on the Quad left the total at four dead and six injured. Remaining defenders of the night retreated.

Experts say that because the night has been taken back, nobody will ever again be raped after sundown.

If you are ever so dizzy that the room begins to spin, whirling rapidly in the opposite direction won't help, but it will make people nearby laugh.
