Dear Danny,

I’m taking a lot of hard classes, I play a sport, and I have a job. I also participate in a lot of extracurricular activities. This keeps me pretty busy, and I try to budget my time so that I can get things done when they need to. Some of my friends don’t get it, though, and they hang out in my room when I try to study. How can I let them know that I’ll spend time with them when I can, but that right now I just need to get work done? The library is out of the question because it scares me.

I Fear Bookshelves

Your problem is a tough one, IFB. You might want to try cutting back on your workload. For example, quit the clubs you’re involved in, and dump that sport. Also the job. It’s too late to drop classes but that doesn’t mean you can’t skip any. You could take up smoking marijuana and watching Happy Days reruns on late night TV. Then, grow your hair out long and wear the same hoodie everywhere. Vote for Ron Paul and start a blog.

Dear Danny,

Lately I’ve been having a lot of arguments with my best freind. Its always about something trivial and I want to tell her that I don’t really want to be arguing with her, but then we always get hung up on some small thing and end up mad at each other. How can I stop the cycle?

Wish We Could Just Be Friends

Well, WWCJBF, here’s an idea: take a fucking English class. “Friend” isn’t spelled like that, and you’re missing an apostrophe in “it’s.” The Eastern Review doesn’t know how you expect to get anywhere in life without having even a basic grasp of the English language. Christ.
